Singer Ana Isabel lends vocals to local Bay Area band Jingle Punx:

Not only does the band have a new album out, but singer Ana Isabel has collaborated with Bay Area band "Jingle Punx". Jingle Punx, a San Francisco Bay Area band which performs new and original punked-out Christmas songs, has a new album out November 2006.  The album features Ana on vocals for two of the tracks...and as if that wasn't enough reason to buy the album; the album's cover features Goodbye Gadget's drummer Pave, as "Santa".  The album will be for sale on iTunes and interpunk.com .

Oakland rock/punk band formerly known as Inspect Her Gadget is back with a new name and album.

The once all-female foursome (which now includes a male drummer who joined in January 2006) pays homage to their former name by officially changing the band name to "Goodbye Gadget".

Founding member and guitarist Jess Loberstein explains, "We didn't want to lose the name entirely, however we do feel that we are a different band than we once were; musically as well as in the actual line-up." Goodbye Gadget is releasing their first full-length album, entitled "Killing June" as a follow up to their 2004 ep "Look Harder!"

The 10 track album will feature tracks mixed by Joe Chiccarelli (who has worked with artists such as Pat Benetar, The All American Rejects, Tori Amos and even Courtney Love while she was in Hole). Killing June is a powerful collection that ranges from dark to soft to light showing the evolution of the Gadget sound.

December 12th the album will be available on sites such as Interpunk.com, iTunes and Downloadpunk.com. A pre-order of the album will be available on Interpunk.com, and the first 100 orders will also receive a free t-shirt.

The album is available for pre-sale Oct. 31st, Halloween Day, exclusively on www.interpunk.com.
